Health education

Since young, most of us were not given much knowledge of health and wellness in schools.  Majority of school children then and now, only get to learn some physical exercises and selected sports at the frequency of once every week, but subjected to weather conditions. None were taught in detail the causes of dangerous diseases and the practical ways to protect themselves and avoid being infected. Children grow up with no awareness regarding their health status and no knowledge on how to maintain a healthy lifestyle.  Such ignorance are then passed from one generation to another.  One of Montaine’s core reasons for existence is to break this undesirable pattern of ignorance and to provide Malaysians with proper and adequate knowledge of health and wellness.  This will create a health conscious society in Malaysia whereby we can help to keep illnesses at bay.  At Montaine, we provide a space for proper exercises, tailored diet programmes and development of healthy mindsets.

Bonding

We promote healthy bonding in all areas ie bonding with oneself, with spouse/partner, with family members, working team and the community.  This is achieved through our regular classes on self-awareness, talks or workshops on relationships, activities like treasure hunt and games involving families and so on.

Community Service

The founder of Montaine Centre of Health and Wellness (Malaysia) is a visionary of his own.  The ancient story of a Chinese monk, Tang who is part of the famous epic “Journey To The West” struck a chord in KC’s heart when he first read about him.  He was deeply touched by the unreserved nature of giving and loving demonstrated by monk Tang.  Like the true giver in the Chinese tale, Montaine is dedicated to be in contribution to the society, especially the under-privileged ones.  In line with this, we plan to organise regular charity events for the benefit of various homes for the less fortunate.
