The Australian School of Reflexology

The Australian School of Reflexology offers a comprehensive programme which is structured to embrace the needs of practitioners in the natural health and medical fields, as well as people new to natural therapies.

As specialists in the field, the course syllabus progressively reflects advances in knowledge and research. The Certificate IV in Reflexology is a government accredited course which is accredited Australia-wide by both the ATMS and the Reflexology Association of Australia. It is also accredited in Great Britain.

The following course components are available:

Basic Reflexology (Reflexology I) ?one weekend.
Certificate III in Reflexology (Reflexology I & II) ?7 weekends.
Certificate IV in Reflexology (Reflexology I, II, & III) ?15 weekends.
The Certificate IV qualification opens the door to full membership of both the ATMS and the Reflexology Association of Australia.

Postgraduate Workshops and courses are also available, and are open to everyone. Interested reflexologists can phone to be put on the mailing list.

Special Classes/Transportable Classes: Due to the flexible nature of the course structure, Basic and Certificate III courses can be held in country areas. Some Reflexology III components can also be taught outside Sydney. The School also holds in-house courses for nurses to address their particular needs, such as in Geriatric Nursing.

The majority of the reflexology classes are taught by Sue Ehinger (Principal) and Carol Morphett (Vice Principal). Other specialists in Podiatry, Aromatherapy, Chinese Medicine etc, teach components at Certificate IV level. Sue and Carol both have medical backgrounds.

Sue Ehinger Dips. Refl. Radio. Nutro. Irid., founder of the School, has over 15 years experience specialising in Reflexology. She is a founding member and past President of the Reflexology Association of Australia (NSW) and has studied reflexology in Switzerland, and China, and Denmark

Carol Morphett RN, Dip. Refl., is a founding member of the RAA, and past President of the Holistic Nurses Association (NSW).
