The staff of the College have developed a Diploma Course to provide an effective education in the art and science of Homoeopathy.

The basic foundation of the course is a philosophical one centred on the work and discoveries of Samuel Hahnemann and the development and unfolding of his work by the masters who followed in his steps. This philosophy teaches true laws of healing which enable the discerning practitioner of medicine to apply the forces of nature to healing in a profound way. This approach to medicine is widely known as Classical Homoeopathy and is the traditional method of application of homoeopathic medicines.

This is a three year course comprising a Homoeopathy stream together with medical sciences. A practical clinical component where each student sees patients under the supervision of a qualified practitioner is conducted at the student clinic in the college premises in Leichhardt. Counselling and Nutrition are studied as adjuncts to Homoeopathic practice. A one year Certificate Course is also available.

The College offers two distance learning options. The first year of the Homoeopathy course is offered as a Certificate course with regular tutor contact. Also, the College is now the agent for the International Flexible Learning Program from the School of Homoeopathy, Devon, England. All clinical and practical work for this course will be offered by the Sydney College of Homoeopathic Medicine staff.

The course is designed to develop practitioners capable of guiding the individual patient to a balanced expression of health ?physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually. The College expects individuals to graduate with a self-assured power to heal, using the art and science of Homoeopathy as the vehicle for that healing.

The College also conducts seminars for those who have already completed a Homoeopathy Diploma and a short course: Introduction to Homoeopathy for First Aid.
