Taree School of Holistic Massage
The
Taree School of Holistic Massage was established in 1989 in response to
local demand. It offers a comprehensive, intensive part or full-time
education in remedial massage and homoeopathy, producing a highly capable
professional practitioner.
All
courses are VETEC Accredited and Austudy/Abstudy support is available to
eligible students.
Holistic
Massage Practitioner Certificate (480 hours) gives practitioner status
and is the foundation for continuation to:?/font>
Advanced
Diploma of Remedial Therapies (ADRT) in either:?/font>
Manual
Therapies (minimum 3 years, including Passive Mobilisation and
Traction, Reflexology, Spinal Touch, Sports Therapies, Clinical Assessment
Techniques, Business Management, Homoeopathy 1, Iridology and Flower
Essences ?a total of 2330 hours)
and/or
Ingestive
Therapies (minimum 4 years, with Homoeopathy [3 years], Herbal
Medicine, Iridology, Flower Essences, Biochemic Psychology, Subtle Energy
Studies, Pathophysiology, Symptomatology, Modality Integration and
Clinical Casework ?a total of 2330 hours).
Statements
of Attainment are given for each segment completed.
Extension studies will include Nutrition and Dietary Therapeutics and
Aromatherapy (IFA Accredited).
The
course is fun, fascinating and exciting and includes massage participation
at local sporting events including the annual international
Forster-Tuncurry Ironman Triathlon.
